Townsville Community Policing Board

Welcome to the Townsville Community Policing Board, which has been established to give members of the community a say on local crime issues.

The Townsville Community Policing Board consists of representatives from (but not limited to) the Queensland Police Service, Australian Defence Force, Townsville City Council, Townsville Bulletin, Townsville Enterprise Ltd, Chamber of Commerce, James Cook University, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Department of Communities,  Townsville Liquor Accord, Queensland Health and Department of ATSI & Multicultural Affairs and is aiming to promote community safety and formulate strategies to combat crime and societal issues at a local level.
