Supplying liquor to a restricted area, Balgal Beach

Police have charged two 18-year-old Palm Island men with supplying liquor to a restricted area following an incident on Balgal Beach on Friday, July 14.

Police will allege they observed two men provide shopping bags containing alcohol to a vessel at Balgal Beach, before making their way out to sea.

The men are expected to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on July 28.

Possess dangerous drug, Aitkenvale

Police have charged a 26-year old man with alleged possession of a dangerous drug following a roadside breath test in Aitkenvale overnight.

Police intercepted a vehicle on Anne Street with officers allegedly locating a quantity of methylamphetamine inside the vehicle.

A Hermit Park man will be appearing in the Townsville Magistrates Court in August.
