The week that was in Dalby, Thursday June 8

May 31 – A cordless drill and a socket set were allegedly stolen from a government facility on the Jandowae Road, Dalby. The items were stolen from tool boxes on the back of a utility parked at the location overnight.

June 2 – A lady having a shower in Skelton Street, Dalby received quite a fright when she saw a hand reach in her bathroom window and try to slide back her shower curtain. She yelled out causing the hand to be withdrawn. She later discovered that a quantity of her underwear had been stolen from her clothes line.

June 4 – A 43-year-old Dalby man will appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on June 27 after he was found in possession of house breaking implements whilst out and about the town at night. He had no reasonable excuse for his actions and was subsequently charged.

June 5 – Dalby police conducted a roadside breath test of the 28-year-old driver on Condamine Street, Dalby. The driver returned a positive breath test and was transported to the Dalby Police Station where he was found to have a blood alcohol reading of .096%. He will appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on June 27.

June 6 – An educational facility on Nicholson St, Dalby had an unwanted visitor over night with the alleged offender climbing onto the roof of a building and damaging a louvre. The offender also forced open a locker removing the lock. It appears the offender has then opened the window to another building setting off an alarm.
