An 18-year-old male from Roma was detected driving a vehicle on the Leichhardt Highway travelling 144 km/hr in an 100 km/hr speed zone. He was issued an infringement notice for $1,137 and his licence will be suspended.

The majority of other motorists were well behaved and police are thankful for their consideration of other road users.
