Chinchilla weekly round up, Monday May 15

On May 10, an 11-year-old boy and a nine-year-old boy were charged with three offences each including wilful damage, possess explosives, and using explosives, in relation to damages which occurred in the toilet blocks of the Middleton Street Park on April 28.

On May 11 at 2:50pm, a 42-year-old Chinchilla woman was intercepted on Zeller Street, Chinchilla for driving a motor vehicle without a driver’s license. She was issued a Notice to Appear (NTA) at the Chinchilla Magistrates Court on June 8.

On May 12, a 12-year-old boy was arrested on three outstanding warrants and charged with a further seven offences from Chinchilla, including stealing, assault, wilful damage, and public nuisance, which all occurred between May 8 and May 12.

On May 13, a 35-year-old Chinchilla man was located on Dudley Street in possession of cannabis. He was issued an NTA at the Chinchilla Magistrates court on May 24 in relation to one count of possess dangerous drugs.

Overnight between May 13 and May 14, two businesses have been entered on Middle Street and a sum of money stolen.
