Longreach Police are thankful that all motorists travelled safely on roads throughout the area over the entire Easter weekend.
Longreach Police conducted a number of mobile roadside breath tests from Thursday, April 13 until Tuesday, April 18 and are pleased to report no drink drivers were detected driving over the legal limit.
Police are also happy there were no complaints regarding any irresponsible traffic behaviour.
The Longreach Road Policing Unit issued three traffic infringements during this period to drivers of heavy vehicles for fatigue related matters.
Overall, with no traffic crashes reported for the Easter period, police are very pleased members of the public complied with road rules during the busy road use period.
