Search Warrant

On August 30, Barcaldine Police held an operation in a bid to reduce drug activity in the division. Officers from Barcaldine, Longreach Criminal Investigation Branch and around the district executed five search warrants in Barcaldine. Police seized cannabis, hash, utensils used in connection and even hash chocolate brownies. Police arrested 4 people on 10 drug related charges including supply and possession.

Barcaldine Police support Crime Stoppers and would like to remind the community that if you’ve seen something, or know something, you can say something, you can Dob in a Dealer or Rat on a Rat completely anonymously by reporting to Crime Stoppers about the manufacture or supply of illicit drugs in your community. Don’t forget drug dealers ruin lives.
