On the 11th of May 2017, Blackwater Police received reports that at approximately 3pm, an unknown male person stopped the vehicle he was driving near a child on Wey Street, Blackwater. It is alleged the male asked the child to get into the vehicle and that he would drop him at home. The child has declined the offer and has run away from the vehicle. It is further alleged that the vehicle has then driven away.
At the time of receiving this information, Blackwater Police commenced an investigation in relation to this matter. Further investigations are continuing.
