UPDATE: PSPA Scarborough, revoked

At 5:03pm Police revoked the emergency situation under the Public Safety Preservation Act in Scarborough today.

Police attended an address Fortune Street, Scarborough and discovered a suspicious device.

A PSPA was declared at 3.30 pm and police have established an exclusion zone bounded by Fortune Street, 2nd Avenue, 5th Avenue and the water front.

Specialist police are on scene and the device was destroyed.

Investigations are continuing.
