An important message for residents in the Urraween area

Did you know that research shows the level of crime is significantly reduced where Neighbourhood Watch groups are active?

Police are urging residents to help the Neighbourhood Watch network grow, and play a bigger role in combating crime in “Central Park Estate” Urraween.

This program is about educating the community on crime prevention and provides tips on how people and their property can be kept more safe and secure.

Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Watch – Central Park will be holding their next meeting at 9am on Saturday 14 July at 8 Benson Close, Urraween.

The current Area Coordinator will not be standing for re-election. This means that the group will go into recession if it is unable to elect a suitable Area Coordinator. So please come along at 9am Saturday 14 July 2012, and find out what it’s all about and play a part in creating a safer community.
