Assault occasioning bodily harm arrest

On Monday September 11, Detectives from the Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit located a 16-year-old female responsible for assaulting a 14-year-old child.

The incident occurred on September 8, at the underpass behind Kingston State High School.

The offender had asked the victim for money and when they refused the offender punched the victim in the face and left the area.

The matter was reported to police.

The 16-year-old offender will be dealt with under the Youth Justices Act for assault occasioning bodily harm and demanding property with intent to steal.
