Beaudesert Police catch-up with Kooralbyn Community

Police from Beaudesert caught up with Kooralbyn residents this morning along with Local MP for Beaudesert, Jon Krause.

The catch-up was held at the Valley Kitchen Café in a non-formal environment in order to discuss issues facing the Kooralbyn community.

About 35 Kooralbyn residents attended and had coffee with four police from Beaudesert and Mr Krause to discuss issues like crime prevention and personal safety.

Local residents raised concerns such as hooning and asking for drug testing for drivers.  Police were able to address these issues face to face with those residents who had these concerns and advise them of some of the current approaches underway by police.

The ‘Coffee with a Copper and Krause’ was well received by the Kooralbyn Community, and most in attendance shared their enthusiasm to attend the upcoming Neighbourhood Watch start-up meeting at Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley on June 13  at 6pm. This will be advertised shortly.
