Robbery with violence, Ipswich

Detectives investigating the robbery and assault of a man on a train at Sadliers Crossing in Ipswich on Monday have released CCTV images of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Around 12.40pm an 18-year-old man was travelling on the train from Rosewood to Ipswich when he was confronted by two men near Thomas Street Railway Station.

The man was punched in the head and fell to the floor before having his wallet stolen from his pocket. He sustained facial injuries and attended Ipswich Hospital for treatment.

The pair then left the train when it stopped at the station.

It is believed the men boarded the train at Rosewood Railway Station.

Both men are described as being aged between 18 and 23 years old and about 175cm tall.

orts, black and white shoes, a black and white baseball cap and carrying a yellow skate board. The other man was wearing a white t-shirt, long grey pants and thongs.
