Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 48-year-old Japanese tourist missing from Broadbeach since yesterday.
The man was last seen on Casino Drive around 9.30pm and has not been heard from since.
Police hold serious concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character, he speaks limited English and is unfamiliar with the local area.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with a red, black and white checked shirt and khaki pants.
He may also be carrying a black backpack.
