Emerging women leaders on the Gold Coast

Over the last two days five dynamic young female officers from the Gold Coast District have been participating in the Queensland Public Sector Women’s Leadership Workshop in Brisbane.

Each officer was nominated in recognition of her ability, attitude and potential to be a future leader in the QPS.

The QPS is committed to the principles of equity and diversity and this was an opportunity to expose emerging women leaders on the Gold Coast to develop their skills and knowledge and give them the confidence to take on the challenges of leadership positions.

Senior Constable Bernadette Dobbyn, Acting Senior Sergeant Carla Sara, Senior Constable Sarah Burgess, Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Vanessa Wiseman, and Senior Constable Amanda Hinze.

District Management congratulates them all on their superior contributions to date in making the Gold Coast a safer environment, and wishes them well for their future careers.
