Gladstone Turn the Screws on Crime

Come on down to Bill Robertson Toyota this Saturday between 9am-12pm and receive your free anti-theft screws.

Gladstone’s Bill Robertson Toyota along with Gladstone’s Police Crime Prevention Unit have partnered together to prevent crime. ‘Turning the Screws on Crime’ is a crime prevention initiative that replaces ordinary screws on your vehicle’s number plate with anti-theft screws.

Bill Robertson Toyota is now able to fit your number plate with anti-theft screws to deter criminals from removing them.

Crimes such as number plate theft are often linked to serious crimes like vehicle theft, armed robbery, stealing and traffic offences.

Police rely on the community to provide information to help prevent and solve crime. Bill Robertson Toyota is assisting the Gladstone community to help reduce crime and keep Gladstone a safe community to live, play and work.

To celebrate the launch of this new community initiative, Bill Robertson Toyota is hosting a free community open day on Saturday May 20, 9am-12pm. The community is invited to bring their vehicles into the dealership on Hanson Road to have the anti-theft screws fitted to their vehicle. You don’t need to own a Toyota or have bought your vehicle from Bill Robertson Toyota to take up this free offer.

There will also be free kids activities and the Gladstone Police Service will be in attendance on the day to answer any questions the community may have and along with a charity sausage sizzle with funds raised going to the local Crime Stoppers organisation.

To do your part to keep Gladstone safe visit Bill Robertson Toyota on Saturday May 20 to get your free anti-theft number plate screws attached to your vehicle.
