Capalaba police are seeking public assistance to help locate a Beagle puppy named Charlie that was stolen from a private residence on Mala Crescent, Birkdale.

Between 10am and 1.30pm on Saturday, April 22, Charlie was removed from the rear yard of the property.

Charlie was only 12 weeks old when he was stolen and is described as a purebred Beagle, tan, white and black in colour, with tan ears and head, white in between his eyes and on muzzle, four white legs, white stomach and a black patch on the back.

Charlie is microchipped and was wearing a blue and white fabric collar at the time when he was stolen.
