Emergency Services visit TRAMS in Toowoomba

Officers and Volunteers in Policing from the Darling Downs Crime Prevention Unit, joined with the Fire Service, SES and Rural Fire Service to welcome new arrivals at Toowoomba Refugee And Migrant Service (TRAMS). About 30 migrants & refugees listened to a short presentation from each of the services on their role

some equipment

then went out and explored the emergency service vehicles.

This is an ongoing partnership between the emergency services and TRAMS to help new arrivals understand how the services operate in Australia as compared to their home countries and judging by the smiles. It was well recieved.
