Officers from the Inala Tactical Crime Squad (TCS) targeted drug and property offenders over a five day planned operation within the Centenary Patrol Group. The officers arrested 31 people who are facing a total of 81 charges. Over the five days, the TCS officers executed five search warrants on houses and assisted local Divisional crews.
The operation resulted in the recovery of five stolen vehicles with two vehicles being stopped utilising tyre deflation devices.
All persons arrested are due to appear in court in the coming weeks.
“Drugs and property crimes are a strong emphasis for the Inala Tactical Crime Squad and any effort to reduce offences from occurring is a benefit for our community,” Acting Senior Sergeant Malcolm Stebbings, Officer In Charge of the Tactical Crime Squad said.
