Is it Spiderman?

No, it is not the movies, this is real life.

Police are appealing to residents to lock doors leading to balconies following an increase in break and enters in Grimes and Ridley Streets, Auchenflower.

Between May 14 and 15, offenders have climbed up onto the balconies of unit complexes entered stealing property.

Property stolen included cash and credit cards which were later located in a wheelie bin nearby.

Offenders made attempts to gain entry to another set of balcony doors on the second-story without success.

Help police stop this ‘Spiderman’ style offence by being vigilant with home security. Lock doors and windows to balconies even when you are at home.

Lock it, check it, don’t regret it.

Anyone with CCTV that could assist investigations are asked to contact their local police.
