Thousands of new pawsome recruits at Stafford!

Roy Harvey Park was filled with woofs of delight on Sunday!

Thousands of dogs and their owners pawed their way to Roy Harvey Park on Sunday afternoon and signed up to become our newest pawsome recruits for Dogs on Patrol.

Our newest pawsome recruits came from far and wide to join our original pawsome recruits from previous events to learn how to keep their neighbourhoods stay safe.

Our newest pawsome recruits came from far and wide to join their original doggy recruit friends from previous events, in helping keep their neighbourhoods safe.

Our new recruits patiently waited in line to receive their very own Dogs on Patrol tag and to learn how to put their sniffing to good use on their regular walks in their own neighbourhoods!

To all of our new pawsome recruits – when out on your walks never place yourself in danger but always carry your mobile phone with you on your walks and if you see a crime being committed, call Triple Zero 000 immediately.

For non-urgent situations, call Police Link on 131 444.

Or use the Policelink app to take a photo of things like graffiti or wilful damage and report it. We encourage you all to think about your own safety and the safety of your community.

Now not only is walking good for you and your dog, it’s good for the community too!
