Detectives from the Pine Rivers Criminal Investigation Branch investigating an incident at Kallangur on July 27 in which a woman was allegedly stabbed multiple times have charged a man with attempted murder.
The 45-year-old local man was arrested today. He has been denied police bail and remanded in custody to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court tomorrow (Wednesday September 14) where he also faces charges of making threats and enter dwelling with intent.
The man and woman were known to each other.

Appeal for information, unlawful wounding, Kallangur
Police are appealing for dash cam footage as they continue to investigate an unlawful wounding incident in Kallangur last month.
Motorists who may have been driving along Anzac Avenue between Norths Leagues Club, Kallangur and the Deception Bay Road round about, Rothwell or from the North South Arterial to Discovery Drive through North Lakes between 4.00pm and 8.00pm on July 27 are being asked to provide any dash cam footage they may have to police.
The appeal follows an incident in which a 32-year-old woman was injured at a residence on Paul Street in Kallangur on July 27 around 7.00pm.
The woman received stab wounds to her face, chest and legs and was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a critical condition.
