Unlawful wounding, Aspley

Detectives have charged a 28-year-old man following an incident in Aspley overnight.

 

Police were called to a residence on Gympie Road in Aspley at around 1:55am following reports a man had been stabbed during an altercation. Police located a 28-year-old man nearby and took him into custody a short time later.

 

An 18-year-old Aspley man was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his leg.

 

A 28-year-old Aspley man has been charged with unlawful wounding and is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
