Police officer stood down South Eastern Region

A 43-year-old male constable from South Eastern Region has been stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service and will be tasked to perform non-operational duties.

The officer is the subject of an investigation regarding the driving of his private motor vehicle while affected by alcohol. The officer was served with a Notice to Appear and will appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on 17 July 2017.
