A woman has died following a two vehicle traffic crash on the Bruce Highway at Gunalda this afternoon.
Initial investigations indicate at around 3:50pm a car was exiting a service station when it collided with another vehicle travelling along the Bruce Highway.
Emergency services responded however a 75-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Another woman was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
Three other people were treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.
The Bruce Highway was reopened at around 8pm.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
