Armed robbery, Brighton

Police are investigating after a caravan park at Brighton was robbed early this morning.

Initial inquiries indicate about 4.30am two men entered the business on Beaconsfield Terrace and woke up a man who was asleep in his bedroom.

The men have threatened him with an iron bar and demanded cash. The man accompanied them to an adjoining office and the men then fled with a sum of cash.

The first man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 183cm tall and of broad build.
The second man is described as 170cm tall, medium build and Caucasian in appearance.

Both were wearing dark clothing.

They are believed to be travelling in a dark coloured 4WD which headed north on Beaconsfield Terrace however it is not known if they turned left onto the Deagon Deviation or continued North to Redcliffe.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage on Beaconsfield Terrance, Deagon Deviation or Houghton Highway between 4.30am and 5am to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 if there is relevant vision

The 67-year-old man was not physically injured during the incident.
