LOCATED – Missing boy, Raceview

Update: The boy was located safe and well on August 24.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 12-year-old boy reported missing from Raceview in Ipswich this afternoon.

The boy (pictured) was last seen at an address on Cascade Street at around 2:30pm and has not been seen by friends or family since.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

The boy is described as Aboriginal in appearance, approximately 160cm tall, of a slim build with curly short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black and white t-shirt, black shorts, blue Reebok shoes and a blue bicycle helmet.

He may also be riding a black and maroon mountain bicycle.

Anyone who has any information about the boy’s location is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
