Serious traffic crash, Beenleigh

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a two vehicle crash at Beenleigh last night which resulted in four people being hospitalised.

Preliminary information indicates the crash occurred at the intersection of Logan River Road and Harburg Road around 9pm.

A ute that was travelling along Logan River Road crashed into the side of a car in the intersection, and the front seat passenger of the car, a 17-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.

Two other passengers as well as the 21-year-old female driver were also transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the ute, a 21-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.

The injured were transported to the Princess Alexandra and Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospitals.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing, and they are appealing to anyone that might have been in the area at the time, especially if they have a dash camera, to contact them.
