Burglary with violence, Toowong

Detectives are investigating after two men broke into a Toowong unit and assaulted a man last night.

Around 9.15pm the 26-year-old male occupant confronted two men attempting to break into the Horrocks Street property.

A neighbour located the bag containing the flute dumped in the street a short time later.

The first man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 30s, about 178cm tall with a tanned complexion.

The second man is described as being around 178cm tall and younger than the first man.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
