Robbery with violence, Richlands

Police are investigating a stealing incident which occurred this afternoon in Richlands.

Just before 2pm, a woman entered a supermarket before entering a bottle shop where she removed several products from the shelves and placed them into a bag.

The woman then exited the store without paying for the goods at which point a female employee reached out for the products and was punched in the face.

As a result of the altercation, the products smashed on the ground and the woman then left the scene with another female.

Police would like to speak to a woman described as of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, approximately 170 centimetres tall, of a heavy build with black hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a large white snow jacket with ‘Ru’ or ‘Rw’ written on the back, a black singlet and grey three quarter length denim shorts and joggers.

The 25-year-old employee was later treated for facial injuries.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
