Missing boy, Wellington Point

UPDATE: The 13-year-old boy reported missing from Wellington Point has been located safe and well.

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a boy missing from Wellington Point overnight.

The 13-year-old was last seen at 4.10 yesterday afternoon getting into a 1995 silver Holden Commodore on Sheena Street in Wellington Point driven by a family friend.

He has not been seen or made contact with family since, and police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age and the family friend having medical issues that could affect his driving abilities.

The boy is Caucasian in appearance, around 160cms tall, of a proportionate build with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are appealing to anyone that may have seen the vehicle to contact them or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
