Mount Cotton advised to secure homes to prevent thefts!

Officer in Charge of Redland Bay Police Station, Senior Sergeant Steve Graham has issued a warning to Mount Cotton residents following a number of break and enters of homes that have occurred in the area in the past couple of weeks.

Senior Sergeant Graham is urging residents to lock their garage doors to prevent entry directly into homes. There has also been occasions where offenders have gained entry to homes in the Mount Cotton area  through unlocked doors and open, unsecured windows.

Keep an eye out in Mount Cotton and surrounding areas for any suspicious vehicles or people and report this suspicious activity immediately to police. Police have increased patrols in the area to combat this crime.
