Update: Assault investigation, Sunnybank

Police investigating the assault of a woman in Sunnybank on March 22 have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation.

Investigations indicate a woman was walking through Yimbun Park at Sunnybank around 9.45pm when a man approached her.

The man grabbed the woman before she was able to break free and called for help while chasing the man.

The man was last seen getting into a brown sedan on Samara Street and it is believed the registration plate of the car has the numbers 508 on it.

The woman was not physically injured as a result of the incident.

The man (pictured) is described as being Asian in appearance, around 35 years of age and has short black hair, is around 180cms tall and has a proportionate build.

He was last seen wearing a dark t-shirt and knee length cargo shorts.

Anyone who may be able to assist with identifying the man or has any information is being urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
