On the anniversary of ANZAC Day, the Mounted Police Unit marched proudly in remembrance of all Australians who have served and died in war and on operational service. Participating in parades in Brisbane City, Beenleigh and Logan, all members of the Mounted Police Unit consider their involvement on ANZAC Day to be a great honour and privilege.
A lot of pride and preparation is paramount in the lead-up to such a ceremonial occasion. This beautifully polished equipment below belongs to Constable David Masters, the newest member to the unit and a first time rider in the ANZAC Day march.
For many years the Mounted Police Unit have marched proudly, and we humbly look forward to marching proudly for many years to come.
Lest We Forget.
