The Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate a fatal, multi-vehicle traffic crash which occurred in Woodhill this morning.
Just after 8am, eight vehicles were involved in a crash on the Mount Lindesay Highway including two trucks, five cars and a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 43-year-old man from Ascot died at the scene.
A 40-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were transported to the QEII Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Highway remains closed in both directions between Undullah Road and Mahoney Road while investigations continue.
