Police have charged a 32-year-old woman after she allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of more than four times the legal limit near a Beaudesert school this afternoon.
The woman was intercepted for a Roadside Breath Test (RBT) at about 3.50pm, in a 40km per hour school zone. She had a five-year-old passenger.
The driver allegedly registered a positive RBT and subsequently recorded a high BAC of 0.207%.
The driver was charged with one count of driving under the influence of liquor and issued with a Notice to Appear in the Beaudesert Magistrates Court on September 2.
