Update: Missing Mudgeeraba teenager

Police are still appealing for public assistance to help locate a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing from Mudgeeraba on October 19.

The boy was noticed missing around 7.30am, as was his wallet and some clothing.

He may be wearing a grey shirt and navy blue long pants, black sunglasses and a pair of blue runners (with a small amount of grey and black on them).

He may also be carrying an Playstation Vita handheld game console.

It is believed that he likes to visit local areas including the Mudgeeraba Markets, Robina Town Centre and fast food outlets. He may also be attempting to make his way to Sydney.

Police hold concerns for his wellbeing as this is out of character and he has not contacted family or friends.

He is described as Caucasian, 180cms tall with a slim build, short sandy hair and green eyes.

Anyone who has seen him is asked to contact police.
