Sudden death, Surfers Paradise

Police are investigating the death of a man at Surfers Paradise in the early hours of this morning.

Initial information suggests the 19-year-old man fell from the balcony of a high rise apartment complex on Hanlan Street around 1.15am.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Coolangatta 5 NHW meetings for 2014 will be held at the Tugun Bowls Club, commencing at 1:30pm on Monday, 10th February, 14th April, 16th June, 11th August and 13th October. At this time the Christmas Party is scheduled for 12 noon on Monday, 8th December.
