Break and Enters, Kangaroo Point

Dutton Park Police and Detectives are investigating two burglaries over the weekend that were committed in the early hours of Sunday morning in Thorn Street, Kangaroo Point.

The two incidents occurred somewhere between just after midnight and 3am.

In one case the burglar scaled to the fourth storey of the unit complex and gained access via the unlocked balcony door while the occupants were asleep.

In the second case entry was gained by cutting a screen door and then accessing the  ground level apartment through the main door which was closed but not locked.

Jewellery and a sum of money were stolen during the incidents.
