Suspicious fire, Kin Kora

Gladstone police are investigating a suspicious fire in Kin Kora early this morning.

Preliminary investigations indicate at around 12.30am, an unknown person or group of people have thrown a flammable object through the bedroom window of a Waratah Street residence.

Fire services attended and extinguished the fire, which was contained to one bedroom.

No one was home at the time of the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or anyone who may have any information in relation to this incident to contact them.

Investigations into the fire are continuing.
