Serious traffic crash, Kybong

Police are appealing for dash cam footage following a serious single vehicle traffic crash in Kybong this afternoon.

Initial investigations indicate a car was travelling north along the Bruce Highway between 1-1:30pm when it left the road and rolled at least once before coming to rest beside the road.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 47-year-old Curra woman, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.

Anyone who may have seen a blue Toyota hatchback travelling between Cooroy and Kybong or has dash cam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
