Appeal for public assistance, Millaa Millaa

EDIT: The man has now been located

Police have released the image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries into a building fire at Millaa Millaa yesterday.

Around 11.30am, police were advised a dwelling on a property along Whiteing Road was alight.

Initial information suggests the fire was deliberately lit.

No one was inside at the time of the fire.

A vehicle in the yard was also set alight

The man police wish to speak to is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, of a proportionate build and with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey shirt and dark blue pants.
