Update: Fatal aircraft incident, Carmila

The Forensic Crash Unit, along with other agencies, will continue to investigate a helicopter crash that took the life of a 50-year-old man this morning.

It appears that the helicopter, with the sole occupant pilot, struck power lines before crashing and bursting into flames.

The pilot, a 50-year-old man from Emerald, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
