Police Liaison Officer suspended, Northern Region

A 46-year-old male Police Liaison Officer from Northern Region has been suspended from official duty with the Queensland Police Service (QPS).

The member is currently facing allegations relating to breaches of a Domestic Violence Order and Common Assault.   The member will appear in Mossman Magistrates Court on March 23, 2016.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.  This does not mean that the allegations against the officers have been substantiated.
