The search of bushland in the Toohey State Forest for a missing cyclist continues with police and State Emergency Services personnel on foot, as well as on trail bikes and All Terrain Vehicles, and helicopter support scouring the bushland from the air.
The man left home around 5.30pm yesterday intending to cycle on a trail through the Toohey State Forest with his dog, a brindle coloured Staffordshire terrier.
Police were notified around 11pm when he failed to return home.
Police attended the scene last night and began a search for him. The search- which had been suspended due to adverse and deteriorating weather conditions- resumed this morning.
The man is described as Caucasian, 180cm tall with a proportionate build, sandy blonde hair and blue eyes.
He was riding a white mountain bike (pictured).
