Appeal for public assistance: House fire, Calen

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate the owner of a house that was destroyed by fire in Calen early this morning.

Around 1.40am emergency crews were called to the scene on Calen-Mount Charlton Road following reports that the house was engulfed inĀ flames.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

Police would like to speak with the owner of the house, a 67-year-old man, who is believed to be travelling in a black 2012 Volkswagon Golf with Queensland Registration 981SUI.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing.
