Police are continuing to appeal for any information that may assist in locating a 37-year-old man who went missing at Noosa on Saturday, January 9.
Ricky Gardner was seen entering the water and swimming away from the shore of Main Beach on Hastings Street at around 12.30am.
It was unknown whether Mr Gardner made it back to shore or exited the water safely, and an extensive search failed to locate him.
Police have since received information that Mr Gardner may be in the Crows Nest area, however they have been unable to confirm this.
Anyone who may know the current whereabouts of Mr Gardner is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Mr Gardner (pictured) is described as Caucasian, approximately 178cm tall, slim build and has light complexion. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of going missing.
