Detectives have charged a 58-year-old man following investigations into an incident that occurred in Charters Towers on January 26.
Police will allege that about 10.10pm, a man stabbed a woman multiple times in the neck and back at an address on Luke Street.
They were both transported to the Charters Towers Hospital before being airlifted to the Townsville Hospital.
A 58-year-old Queenton man has been charged with unlawful wounding and contravention of a domestic violence order.
He is due to appear in the Charters Towers Magistrates Court on February 22.
