Fatal traffic incident, Pomona

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic incident which occurred on Reserve Street at Pomona this morning.

Initial information suggests at 11.45am, a vehicle which was parked on a hill, rolled down the hill striking a second vehicle. The second vehicle then collided with two pedestrians.

A 47-year-old woman was declared deceased at the scene while a second woman aged in her 70s did not receive any physical injuries.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed anything prior to the incident who has not already spoken to police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
