Police continue appeal for missing man, Noosa

Police are continuing to appeal for any information that may assist in locating a 37-year-old man who went missing at Noosa on Saturday January 9.

Ricky Gardner was seen entering the water and swimming away from the shore of Main Beach on Hastings Street at around 12.30am.

A search by police has failed to locate Mr Gardner.

Mr Gardner has not made contact with family or friends and concerns are held for his welfare.

Mr Gardner is described as Caucasian, approximately 178cm tall, slim build and has light complexion.  It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of going missing.

Police are appealing for Mr Gardner to notify a friend or family member that he is safe.

Police are urging anyone who may have contact with Mr Gardner to contact police to verify that he is safe.
